Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c, accessing any of these Middleware features on a WebLogic domain fails with "Login failed. Error connecting to the Server."

Environment

 

Accessing Logs -> View Log Messages fails with "Viewing the Log Messages option is currently not available for the target <target name> ( Oracle WebLogic Server ). Logging configuration is invalid or JRF is not enabled."

Changes

 The target domain was configured with a custom or self-signed SSL certificate

AND/OR

The target domain was configured to use TLS instead of SSLv3 because of the POODLE vulnerability
