Symptoms

Any Enterprise Manager (EM) Base Platform 12c Release.

Attempting to log in to the EM Console fails with the following error:

An error occurred during a connection to <oms_servername>:port. The server certificate included a public key that was too weak. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_cert_key)

This may happen in any browser.

Example of error:

An error occurred during a connection to myoms_server.com:7301. The server certificate included a public key that was too weak. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_cert_key)
