(Doc ID 2049143.1)

Last updated on JUNE 08, 2017

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Accessing the EM-Integrated Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher reports, shows that there are no longer any data sources listed.

You can verify this issue by logging into EM 12c as a Super Administrator and navigating to:

Enterprise > Reports > BI Publisher Enterprise Reports [click the BI Publisher link to open the BI Publisher Enterprise Console log in window].

After logging in as the SYSMAN user or equivalent, select the Administration link in the upper right > JNDI Connection.

(see following example):

If everything is correct, the default Data Source Name: EMREPOS with the JNDI Name: jdbc/emgc-mgmt_view-pool will be listed (see following example):

Along with the lack of data source listings, the following error may be present in the .../gc_inst/user_projects/domains/GCDomain/servers/BIP/logs/bipublisher/bipublisher.log file:
