EM 12c: Editing Job Schedules for a Baseline under Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control Change Management Shows the Schedule has Reverted to Default Values (Doc ID 2050383.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2015

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.1.0 to 12.1.0.5.0 [Release 12.1]
Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version 12.1.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Enterprise Manager 12c (12.1.0.5.0 OMS and Agent with the 12.1.0.8.0
Database Plug-in) is monitoring Oracle 12c Databases (all on 64-bit Windows 2008 R2).

Navigate: Targets > Databases > [select target database] > schema > change management > Schema Baselines

Create like and existing baseline.
Change to a repeating schedule:
Start: sometime in the future
Repeat Interval: 4 days (example time)
Repeat Until: 20 days after start
Submit

Selecting Edit Job Options for the newly created baseline shows the job schedule has defaulted to Immediately for Start and One Time Only.

After saving a schema baseline and selecting Edit Job Options, the Job Schedule information
previously saved reverts to the defaults, and if these options are reset, a new job
activity is created (instead of modifying the previous one).
