The Oracle BTM product uses 4 or 5 different databases depending upon how BTM is configured:
- The Sphere database
- The Performance Server database
- The Transaction Server database
- The Message Logging database
- The Monitor Group database
Basic information on the BTM databases can be found in Chapter 5 of the BTM Installation Guide.
The database that typical causes space problems in an Oracle database is the message logging database. This document lists different techniques that can be used to monitor the growth of the BTM message logging database.
