12.1.0.5.160119 Enterprise Manager Base Platform Patch Set Update (PSU)

Beginning with this PSU, the fifth digit version number has changed to a new format YYMMDD. For more information see My Oracle Support Note 2061926.1 - "Oracle Database, Enterprise Manager and Middleware - Change to Patch Numbering from Nov 2015 on wards"

 

What is being announced?

This note gives a brief overview of the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5 Patchset Update  (PSU160119), version 12.1.0.5.160119CC.

This PSU160119 is an OMS patch only.

This PSU160119 can be installed on top of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5.0.

 

If you upgrade Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to 12.1.0.5 or if you do a fresh installation of Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.5 and select the Software Update feature (recommended),  the Installation wizard will download and apply the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5 Patchset Update  (PSU160119) as part of the Installation/Upgrade.  For additional information please check the documentation:

2.1.5 What Are Software Updates?

Existing installations of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5.0 require you to manually download and apply this patch.

1) Ensure that you have the latest version of OPatch Release 11.1.  Oracle recommends you to use the latest version available under Patch:6880880 for 11.1.0.0.0 release.
