EM 12c: Opening Applet for Client JRE Version 1.8.0 and Higher in Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.5 Cloud Control Client System Analyzer (CSA) Example URL Returns Error: ClassNotFoundException (Doc ID 2112331.1)

Symptoms

The Example URL for the Client System Analyzer (CSA) returns a 'ClassNotFoundException' in the browser.

To access, enter this URL in a browser (note the indicated system-specific information required):

http[s]://<OMS host>:<port>/em/public/ecm/csa/CSA

Or, navigate: Enterprise > Configuration > Refresh Host Configuration > [Client System Analyzer]

On the Client System Analyzer page, access the URL through it's link in the section titled Client System Analyzer URL. The CSA can also be initiated on this page.

You can verify this if you are have the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.8.0 or greater on your client machine.  After activating the CSA and clicking the Example Client System Analyzer URL, The Java Applet shows: "Error: Click for details"

After clicking the link, you see a dialog box:
