12.1.0.5.160419 Enterprise Manager Base Platform Patch Set Update (PSU)

There is a typo in this quarter's PSU version number.  The version number will be seen in MOS/ARU as 12.1.0.5.1604119 instead of 12.1.0.5.160419. 

 

 

Beginning with this PSU, the fifth digit version number has changed to a new format YYMMDD. For more information see My Oracle Support Note 2061926.1 - "Oracle Database, Enterprise Manager and Middleware - Change to Patch Numbering from Nov 2015 on wards"

 

What is being announced?

This note gives a brief overview of the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5 Patchset Update  (PSU160419), version 12.1.0.5.160119CC.

This PSU160419 is an OMS patch only.

This PSU160419 can be installed on top of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5.0.

 

If you upgrade Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to 12.1.0.5 or if you do a fresh installation of Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.5 and select the Software Update feature (recommended),  the Installation wizard will download and apply the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.5 Patchset Update  (PSU160419) as part of the Installation/Upgrade.  For additional information please check the documentation:

1) Ensure that you have the latest version of OPatch Release 11.1.  Oracle recommends you to use the latest version available under Patch:6880880 for 11.1.0.0.0 release.

There are no known issues at the time of release for this PSU.
