How do You Get BTM to Reinitialize and/or Reload All of its Transaction Definitions?

Situations arise in Business Transaction Monitoring (BTM) where it is necessary to reload/recreate/reinitialize your BTM transactions. This is probably due to a bug in BTM where something caused many or all of your BTM transactions to go into an "Unapplied" state. A common solution for a small set of transactions is to edit/modify the transaction, change something in the transaction and then save the change. This will cause BTM to reapply the transaction and, hopefully, cause it to be applied successfully.
But what if you have 50 or 100 transactions that are all in an "Unapplied" state? That will require a lot of manual edits.
Is there an automated way to "kick" all of the transactions at once so that they go through their reapply/update cycle and, hopefully, move out of their unapplied state?
