Symptoms
When taking a heap snapshot (heapdump) in JVM Diagnostics,
If the heap snapshot extension is selected as "hprof", it says the heap dump is generated in the /tmp directory but there is no heap dump in that location. There is no file available to upload.
If the heap snapshot extension is selected as "TXT" the heap dump is generated and exists in /tmp directory.
