Goal

You may notice that more and more disk space is being consumed in your BTM environment.  As you investigate further you may discover that the space is used by the directories and files under the MessageHistory directory.  You typically find these directories in a path like this:

/app/oracle/domains/btm_domain/servers/btmMonitorServer_1/btmstorage/btmMonitor/btmmonitor/btmstorage/MessageHistory

When you look in the directories under "MessageHistory" you see a lot of files that end in ".slb".

What are the *.slb files?  What is their purpose in BTM and can they be manually cleaned up?
