Symptoms

The OPatch update (OPATCH_PATCH_UPDATE_JOB) job in Enterprise Manger (EM) 12.1.0.5 Cloud Control fails with:

Checking My Oracle Support authorization.
Patch Search URL: https://updates.oracle.com
User Name: <EMAIL_ADDRESS>
Password: <PASSWORD>

Proxy Server details:

No proxy server is used while connecting to My Oracle Support.

Updating the OPatch components in the Software Library...

The error message is "The entity with name p6880880_80111000_46_0 already exists in the library. Library component not created.". The application may not be able to access the Software Library storage locations. Verify that all the Software Library storage locations are well configured. If a storage location is of the OMS Agent filesystem type, ensure that valid host credentials are specified. For more information, check the OMS logs.
