EM 13c: Creating or Editing an Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control Job in the Job Scheduler Fails with Message: SQL Error Invalid name (Doc ID 2168444.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2017

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using the Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control Job Scheduler to edit an existing (or create a new) job with a space in the name results in display of this message:

"SQL Error Invalid name"

Saving the job with no spaces in the name works.

Clicking "Show SQL", copying the SQL generated (to create or edit the job) from EM 12c Cloud Control, and running
it in SQL Developer allows a job to be created successfully.

Changes

Enterprise Manager Cloud Control has been upgraded from 12.1.0.3 to 13.1.0.1.
