Last updated on AUGUST 31, 2016
Applies to:Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 22.214.171.124.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Running "emctl start blackout <blackout name>" from the Enterprise Manager (EM) 126.96.36.199.0 Cloud Control Agent <agent_inst>/bin reports the blackout was created successfully, however if the blackout name is too long it will not be created on the OMS:
Enterprise > Monitoring > Blackouts does not show the blackout, nor do the targets appear to be in blackout in EM 13c Cloud Control.
The precise length of the blackout name required to cause this issue is variable, depending on a few factors such as target owner and host name.
