EM 12c, EM 13c: All Metrics page of Target shows "Agent Has Disabled Full Monitoring Of This Target" or "Due to issues collecting this target's metrics, the agent will delay their collection"

Information in this document applies to any platform.


In or above EM setup's, the "All Metrics" page of some of the targets show the below messages:

"Agent has disabled full monitoring of this target. Only target Status is being monitored."


Due to issues collecting this target's metrics, the agent will delay their collection.

-  This affects the collection of metrics and generation of alerts  for this target.
-  The metric collections resume once the agent is re-started but the above warning is still seen in the "All Metrics" page of the target.
-  The event of type : 'Target Monitoring Disruption' is seen as Open in the Incident Manager.

This issue affects targets monitored by and above agent versions.

List of affected targets can be used by one of the below methods:

a) Login to the EM repository database as the SYSMAN user and execute:

b) In OEM Console navigate to:

Enterprise -> Monitoring -> Incident Manager. Click on 'Search'. Select :
Type - Events
Status - Show open only
Event Type - Target Monitoring Disruption
Date Range - 6 months (example)
