Software Library 'Check Accessibility' giving error for Multi OMS Setup (Doc ID 2212537.1)

Symptoms

 From 12c or 13c Enterprise Manager navigate to Setup > Provisioning and Patching > Software Library.

Select a Software Library location and click Actions > Check Accessibility

Following error messages are shown:

Error Message 1:

The following Oracle Management Agent(s) are unable to access the path ', <path>/swlib/' identified by the location 'default_loc' using their Normal preferred credentials or the credentials associated with the location: <HOSTNAME1>.<DOMAIN_NAME>

 

Error Message 2:

Unable to check for location accessibility because normal preferred credentials are not set for following OMS host(s):
<HOSTNAME1>.<DOMAIN_NAME>
<HOSTNAME2>.<DOMAIN_NAME>
