Symptoms

A Monitoring Template is created for a database instance target in Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.1 Cloud Control.

Editing the Monitoring Template for the Generic Alert Log Error metric of a database Alert Log metric group, the Metric Collection Properties section on the Edit Advanced Settings: Generic Alert Log Error page disappears. consequently, the Alert Log Filter Expression cannot be edited..
