Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version to [Release 13.1 to 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After a failed additional OMS install attempt, the next attempt fails with below error while Securing OMS as part of additional OMS action. /oms/app/oracle/gc_inst1/user_projects/domains/GCDomain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs2/ssl.conf (No such file or directory)

While Configuring ohs instance second time, it will skip this stating ohs is already available, below is the omsca<timestamp>.log.

Jan 03, 2017 6:37:53 PM oracle.sysman.omsca.util.ProcessOutputReader run
FINE: Instance "ohs2" already exists.
Jan 03, 2017 6:37:53 PM oracle.sysman.omsca.util.ProcessOutputReader run
FINE: createOHSInstance() failed.

Though OHSInstance creation fails it will proceed further to next step which is securing OMS, it fails here because the ohs configuration doesn't exist on the host.

Securing OMS ...... /oms/app/oracle/gc_inst1/user_projects/domains/GCDomain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs2/ssl.conf (No such file or directory)

OMSCA-ERR:Securing of OMS failed

OMSCA-ERR:Post "Deploy and Repos Setup" operations failed. Check the trace file:/oms/app/oracle/middleware13C/cfgtoollogs/omsca/omsca_20170103183444.log
Add OMS failed
