Purpose

When the command: emctl secure wls fails to properly execute, the error is logged in <EM INSTANCE HOME>/em/EMGC_OMSn/sysman/log/secure.log file. This document lists known error messages that are logged to that file and then provides a solution or workaround.

 When you are attempting to secure the Enterprise Manager Weblogic Server (WLS) and it fails to secure, you may see one of the following errors captured in the <EM INSTANCE HOME>/em/EMGC_OMSn/sysman/log/secure.log file:
 A. Securing WLS fails with the error 'failed hostname verification check.'
 B. Securing WLS fails with error 'java.lang.NullPointerException'
 C.Securing WLS fails with error 'Unable to get mbean conn over t3s :null'
 D. Securing WLS fails on Additional OMS Server with error 'java.io.IOException'
