Applies to:Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version 220.127.116.11.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Performance problem found after migration to EM 13.2 which points to a query running on the target which takes up more than 10Gigs of temp space.
The issue is identified as a database bug: <Bug 14078947> - Select from V$RMAN_STATUS very slow when database is open and it has an available patch for the following DB versions:
18.104.22.168 (Base Release)
22.214.171.124 (Server Patch Set)
126.96.36.199 Patch 14 on Windows Platforms
Is there a way to avoid applying the patch and simply disable the metric collection? Applying the patch specially on a production DB will require a maintenance window approval.
How to stop this metric from being collected? What is the metric name that collects it?
