EM 13c: ZFSSA Cluster Target Metrics are not Collected, Shows Dashboard Error: An error occurred calling the metric data service (Doc ID 2244027.1)

The target is a two head ZFS Storage Appliance Cluster with names hostname-controller1.domain.com and hostname-controller2.domain.com.

1) The ZFS target dashboard generates two pop up windows with errors as shown:

2) Controller 1 data is collected successfully.

3) Controller 2 data collection fails with the following error.

4) /tmp/zfssa-core*.log on the agent monitoring the ZFS targets shows errors like these:
