EM Bug 25203248: Multi-Target Command Execution Fails With Credentials Missing. (Doc ID 2251688.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 13.2.0.0.0 to 13.2.0.0.0 [Release 13c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This problem happens when running Enterprise Manager 13.2.0.0.0.  This worked OK in EM 12c.

In the Multi-target Command Execution screen, where you can run SQL against multiple databases, you get "Credentials Missing" when running any SQL with Preferred Credentials. If you select Named Credentials the SQL runs fine.

In other words, trying to run an SQL job on multiple DB instances fails with the message:

Host Credentials - Credential set not found for target type oracle_database, Setname
HostCredsNormal" (for DB Instance "TS11" on Host "lnx.domain")

But the Preferred Host Credential was set.
