Pick any metric with sufficient data collection (the requires it to be active, to be collecting and to have sufficient history).

Select, for example, host target CPU Utilization (%).

Navigate: Targets > Hosts > [select host target link] > [expand Host drop down menu] > Monitoring > All Metrics > [expand Load in the All Metrics table] > CPU Utilization (%)

Change the View Data to a Custom Time Period.
By moving the slider to the left, it should display data for "past XX weeks" (provided data has been collected for this time period).
After pressing OK to confirm the period, the resulting chart only shows the data for the last 7 days, even if the selected value on the slider for "XX" is  10 weeks, 15 weeks 20 weeks, etc.
