Profile usage for DB and GI creation fails with "incorrect shiphome directory structure" messsage

Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version to [Release 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.


From Enterprise Manager create a gold image for Grid Infrastructure home and db home.

Navigate to Enterprise > Provisioning and Patching > Database Provisioning.
Select profile that was created above and click 'Provision'.

The options selected are:

Deploy Grid Infrastructure : Deploy software and configure
Deploy Database software : Deploy software and create a RAC database

During 'Deploy Software' task same gold image of database is auto selected for Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Database is given below:


'Run pre-installation root scripts' Step is failing with following message:

Cannot proceed due to incorrect shiphome directory structure. The install executable script should be present under one of the following directory structure:"clusterware/ or clusterware/Disk1/ or grid/ or grid/Disk1/". Exiting with error code '-1'.
exit status is :255
exit status is 255

 Incident dump created using emctl paf create_incident -exec "Execution id" command shows following messages in paf_PAFMetadataDump40_i201.txt :
