After Configuring OMS for SSL, the EMGC_JVMDMANAGER1 WebLogic Process Will Not Start (Doc ID 2282460.1)

Symptoms

After configuring the OMS / Cloud Control to use SSL, the WebLogic JVMD managed server does not start.

Several errors can be found in the EMGC_JVMDMANAGER1.out file.

<BEA-141151> <The admin server could not be reached at https:hostname.domain:port

<BEA-090173> <The server's trust keystore configuration (specified on the command line or in boot.properties) is incorrect.>

<BEA-090133> <Could not load a JKS keystore from the file <ORACLE_HOME>/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/sysman/config/keystore/WLSTrustStore.jks. Exception: java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect>

 SSL was configured for the OMS process using a command similar to this,

 

Tried to configure this trust store for the custom trust store in the Weblogic Admin Console for the EMGC_JVMDMANAGER1 instance using the passwords provided in the emctl command to secure EMS.
