Deploying an Enterprise Manager (EM) 22.214.171.124 Cloud Control Agent with the October/2016 (<Patch 24677163>) or later EM Agent Bundle Patch (126.96.36.199.161031) appears to succeed.
However, the patched EM 12.1.05 Agent does not appear in the target list in EM 188.8.131.52 Cloud Control, nor do the targets which it is expected to monitor.
An EM 184.108.40.206 Agent with the same October 24677163 (220.127.116.11.161031) or later bundle patch communicates successfully where there is no proxy between OMS and Agent.
Deinstalling the 18.104.22.168 agent and reinstalling without the patch succeeds in agent and monitored target discovery.
Upgrading a 22.214.171.124 Agent to 126.96.36.199 with the same patch (<Patch 24677163>) included also fails, with the agent never coming out of the upgrade blackout.
Rolling back the patch allows the blackout to be stopped and agent and monitored target discovery succeeds.
