EM 13c: How to Determine the Patch Set Update (PSU) Applied to the Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control OMS and the Bundle Patch applied to Plug-ins and Agent (Doc ID 2319892.1)

Patch Set Updates (PSU) for the EM 13c OMS or Agent Oracle Homes are designated by a characteristic date-based entry in the fifth location of the version number:

13.2.0.0.X (for instance, 13.2.0.0.171017)

13.1.0.0.x (for instance, 13.1.0.0.171018)

The same numbering method applies to System Patches for the OMS Plug-in set and the Bundle Patches for the Agent.

After a PSU has been applied, the effective value of 'x', as described above, is not reflected in these various common EM component version indicators:

a) In the banners shown in emctl commands:

- The versions of the Agent and OMS remain unchanged in the 'emctl status agent' output below

b) In the EM 13.2 OMS version display for the Oracle Management Service target in EM 13.2 Cloud

Control (shows 13.2.0.0.0 instead of 13.2.0.0.171017, for instance) in this location:

Navigation Path: All Targets > [select Oracle Management Server target link] > [expand Oracle Management Service] > [see Version]

or expand the EM administrator pull down menu, for example:

Navigation Path: SYSMAN > About Enterprise Manager > [see Version]

c) In the EM 13.2 Agent version display for the Agent target in EM 13.2 Cloud Control (shows 13.2.0.0.0 instead of 13.2.0.0.170731, for instance) in this location:

Navigation Path: Targets > All Targets > [select Agent target link] > [expand Agent pull down menu] > [see Version in the Summary/General section]

Navigation Path: Setup > Manager Cloud Control > Agents > [select Agent target link] > [see Version in the Summary/General section]

Note that the Patches Applied section will show the PSU or Bundle Patch which has been applied (EM-AGENT Bundle Patch 13.2.0.0.170731, for instance, accessed by selecting the Oracle Home and Patch Details link on the Agent target page)

d) There is no EM 13.2 OMS version number shown in the output of 'opatch lsinventory' in EM 13c, which is a different result that seen in past EM versions.
