EM 13c: LDAP / AD Users Unable to Login EM Console After Applying WLS PSU 25869659 (Doc ID 2321023.1)

Symptoms

Active Directory users are unable to log into 13c Enterprise Manager console after applying the WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.3.0.170718 Patch 25869659
Console login fails with:

The User Name or Password is invalid

- The <gc_inst>/user_projects/Domains/GCDomain/servers/EMGC_OMS1/logs/EMGC_OMS1.out reports:

<Oct 11, 2017 10:55:01 AM AEDT> <Warning> <Security> <BEA-099117> <The LDAP authentication provider named "EM_AD_Provider" failed to make connection to ldap server at ldaps://ldaphost.domain:636, the error cause is: General SSLEngine problem.>

- The <gc_inst>/user_projects/Domains/GCDomain/servers/EMGC_ADMINSERVER/logs/EMGC_ADMINSERVER.out shows:

-  SSL certificates for the LDAP server had earlier been imported into the WLS default keystore - DemoTrust.jks file.

Changes

WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.3.0.170718 Patch 25869659 was applied recently.
Similar issue seen with WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.3.0.181016 Patch 28298916 as well.
