Purpose
This document explains how to deploy the latest Oracle Big Data Appliance(BDA) Plug-in on the Oracle Management Server(OMS) and Management Agents in Enterprise Manager(EM) Cloud Control 13c. This is the process to use on BDA V4.8 and higher where "bdacli enable em" is no longer supported. It can be used with BDA V4.7 if "bdacli enable em" is not used.
Note: Deploying plug-in on the management servers causes downtime on the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. Schedule a downtime window to deploy the plugins.
Scope
Oracle Enterprise Manager(EM) Administrators , Oracle Big Data Appliance Administrators , Oracle Advanced Customer Support (ACS), anyone deploying the BDA plug-in on 13c on BDA V4.8 and higher.
