EM 13c: Installing or Upgrading opatch 13.9 for the Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control Agent or OMS Fails with Error: Could not execute (Doc ID 2325210.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


 It is required to upgrade the opatch located in the Agent or OMS Oracle home in Enterprise Manger 13.2 to version (or higher) prior to attempting any patching of these Oracle Homes. Opatch is upgraded by executing a java command on a .jar file, but this fails with the following logged error:
