EM 13c: Export Incident Rules in Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control Creates Invalid Export File Name and Format

Symptoms

>> This applies to Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.1 and 13.2 Cloud Control using the MS INTERNET EXPLORER browser only <<

 

Log in to EM 13.2 using the INTERNET EXPLORER browser.

   Navigate: Setup > Incidents > Incident Rules > [select the incident rule name] > Export

In this example, the incident rule name is “Notify On Reco Area Space”

Click on Save -> Open Folder and check that the file name is created as =_UTF-8_Q_Notify+On+Reco+Area+Space_=

Import the saved file navigating to: Setup > Incidents > Incident Rules > select IMPORT

 

The import fails with:

ERROR

Invalid File Type for Import
