Symptoms

13c Enterprise Manager

Data Guard -> Verify Configuration -> Detailed Results returns the following errors:

Checking agent status

Error checking database <primary target name>. Refer to the management server log files for details.WARNING: java.lang.NullPointerException
WARNING: Switchover or failover may not succeed as a result.

Error checking database <standby target name>. Refer to the management server log files for details.WARNING: java.lang.NullPointerException
WARNING: Switchover or failover may not succeed as a result.
