Incorrect Hostname Is Displayed For JVM When Using Exalogic And The Same IP For Multiple Hosts (Doc ID 2420049.1)

Symptoms


When using Exalogic Infiniband with two systems configured to use the same ip address but different hostnames the JVM target information shows the incorrect hostname for one of the systems.

This issue can be seen by using Targets -> Middleware -> <JVM Pool> -> <JVM Name>. 

When viewing the target JVM use the Java Virtual Machine drop down and select Target Information. On this page the Host and JVM Host will be different. The Host value will be incorrect while the JVM Host will contain the correct name.
