EM 13c: Deployment of DB Software using Fleet Command Hangs Forever Without Completing the Post Install Script (Datapatch) Execution (Doc ID 2428693.1)

EM 13.2

Executing the following fleet command hangs forever:

$emcli db_software_maintenance -performOperation -name="Update DB" -purpose=UPDATE_DB -target_type=oracle_database -target_list="DBname" -normal_credential="NC_FLEET_OS_NORM:SYSMAN" -privilege_credential="NC_FLEET_OS_ROOT:SYSMAN"

This command hangs forever without executing the post patch install script Datapatch.

To verify if this has completed the patching process, execute the following query:

SQL> With a as (select dbms_qopatch.get_opatch_lsinventory
patch_output from dual)
select x.patch_id, x.description from a,xmltable('InventoryInstance/patches/*'passing a.patch_output columns
patch_id number path 'patchID',
description varchar2(80) path 'patchDescription') x,
dba_registry_sqlpatch s
where x.patch_id = s.patch_id
and x.description like '%17%';

It does not give any result.

If datapatch is executed, then it should give the output of the query as follows:

25755742      Database Patch Set Update : (25755742)

25171037      Database Patch Set Update : (25171037)

24732082      Database Patch Set Update : (24732082)

Execution of datapatch script manually works fine.
