EM13c Does Not Reconize a Disconnected Port

Information in this document applies to any platform.
During LAN resilience test Database nodes network failed over.
LAN port from the customer switch was shutdown manually by network administrator to simulate a network or link accident.
Ethernet port issue was detected from Database Machine side on all network cards.
However EM13c not reacted on this issue. There are no alerts or incidents generated.
Instead EM13c shows that all eth is up and connected.
