Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control, trying to validate a query for a SQL-Based Repository DB Metric Extension (ME) throws exception:


This ME SQL Query runs fine when executed directly in the EM Repository DB from SQL*Plus, and the views in use are standard (documented!) Management Repository views.
