Symptoms

High CPU usage by the Enterprise Manager Agent when monitoring OAM targets.

This only occurs for targets where the Log File Monitoring metrics are enabled. If those are disabled, the CPU spikes stop occurring. Also the metric collection .xml file is an unusually large size compared to the other targets.
