Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.2 Cloud Control
Real Application Cluster (RAC) deployment using Fleet Maintenance

A GI gold image is created from a RAC GI home. When deploying the home to an existing server, it is deployed as an SIHA home and RAC is not linked into the oracle binary.


From the deploy procedure log:

Component path is:<NAME> Gold Images/GI/<IMAGE NAME> - gi_180717PSU
Deploy Type is set to SIHA

The Maintenance purpose in the procedure configuration is "DEPLOY_GI_SOFTWARE", but the procedure ends up changing the Deploy Type to "SIHA".


From the EM 13.2 view, DEPLOY_GI_SOFTWARE is the configured intent:


The resulting deployment as recognized by EM 13.2 shows the "Deploy type is set to SIHA":
