Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager Cloud Control using Fleet Maintenance, when performing the following UDPATE_GI command operation on Cluster target  fails with error ARU ID. Due to "Single row subquery return more than 1 row while getting ARU_ID"

Command Snippet

$ emcli db_software_maintenance -performOperation -name="Update Cluster" -purpose=UPDATE_GI -target_type=cluster -target_list="<target_name>" -normal_credential="ORACLE:SYSMAN" -privilege_credential="ROOT:SYSMAN"

Processing target "ABC"...
Checking if target is already running from the current version of the image...
Check Passed.
Checking image subscription...
Check image subscription passed.
Error in ARU ID details. Check OMS logs for more details.
Error in oracle home details. Check OMS logs for more details.
Already running on the same Oracle Home.
