13c/12c: Jobs Failed Error Communicating With Agent After Upgrading the JDK (Doc ID 2595009.1)

Symptoms

Running 13.3 OMS with 13.2 agent. This could happen with any agent version that the higher version OMS supports. After upgrading the jdk to 7u221, now when jobs are run they fail with

Step aborted after 30 failed attempts to run. Last captured error message was: Error communicating with agent. Please also check incident console for possible job-system related problems.

Also, the following error is shown in the emoms.trc when the job is attempting to connect to the agent

Changes

 The OMS had the jdk upgraded.
