EM13c : Remove Host BlackOut Does Not Remove Dependent Targets Included In Blackout (Doc ID 2636286.1)

Symptoms

Remove Host BlackOut Does Not Remove Dependent Targets Included In Blackout

Below is an example to recreate this issue:

1) Create Notification Blackout for target Host, navigating to

Enterprise -> Monitoring -> Blackout -> Create -> Notification Blackout -> Targets -> Add Host target

add host target name "<myhostname.com>"

If you select a host target that has members, then you will see the number of respective members in section "Related Targets Included in Blackout"

"Member targets included in blackout"
"Targets on host included in blackout"
"Dependent targets included in blackout"

 

2) Remove the host target previously created in above step 1), navigating to

Enterprise -> Monitoring -> Blackout -> Create -> Notification Blackout -> Targets -> Remove

select host target name "<myhostname.com>" and the "Dependent targets included in blackout" does not get removed.
