EM13: Unable To Add an "Agent-Side" Rule To a Repository-Based Compliance Standard (Doc ID 2651829.1)

Symptoms

Although the UI allows you to add an Agent-Side Rules in the 'Compliance Standard Rules' tab, when you edit a Repository-based Compliance Standard, you are not able to Add a Agent-Side Rule.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

Step1 - Create a Configuration extension to collect results from a number of SQL queries
Step2 - Create an "agent-side" compliance rule to check for results based on appropriate SQL query result
Step3 - Add the "agent-side" compliance rule to existing Compliance Standard to provide an overall score and report for the OEM target.

Step 3 does not permit you to find/select the agent-side rule. Even though it is production/published etc

Here is the UI navigation for clarification:

1. Navigate to Setup > Compliance > Library > Compliance Standards (tab) and make note of the Standard Type (in this Case: Repository):



2. Navigate to Setup > Compliance > Library > Compliance Standard Rules (tab) and note the Rule Types created:



3. Add a Folder to the Compliance Standard to contain the Compliance Rule(s):



4. You will notice that the only Repository-based Rules are displayed and you cannot search for or find any Agent-Side Rules.
