Symptoms

When you are attempting to execute the UPDATE_GI Command Switch Fails With Error "ORA-15150: instance lock mode 'EXCLUSIVE' conflicts with other ASM instance(s)" In 18C/19C On One Node,

Command Snippet:

$ emcli db_software_maintenance -performOperation -name="UpGI" -purpose=UPDATE_GI -target_list='xxxx' -target_type='cluster' -normal_credential="ORACLE:SYSMAN" -privilege_credential="ROOT:SYSMAN"
