EM 13c Fleet: How to avoid "Targets getting subscribed to incorrect platform"

Symptoms
In Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control, Fleet currently targets are able to subscribe to different operating system from an image which is created from another operating system.
Example:
Gold Image was created from Linux OS and the same Gold image was subscribed for SUSE Linux.
emcli db_software_maintenance -subscribeTarget -image_id=<image_id> -target_list="<DB_Name1,DB_Name2>" -target_type=oracle_database
Targets '<DB_Name1>,<DB_Name2> subscribed successfully.
Verb subscribeTarget completed successfully
