Symptoms
Installing the Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.4 Cloud Control Agent on Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit) 11 fails with the error:
<OMS_INSTANCE_HOME>/sysman/agentpush/<time-stamp>/prereqlogs/<install_type>_logs/<hostname>/prereq<timestamp>.log
Is the software certified on the current operating system?Expected result: One of 5.12 Update 0.175, 5.11 Update 0.175, 5.10 Update u10wos
Actual Result: 5.11 Update 11.4.20.0.1.4.0
Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed

Problem: This Oracle software is not certified on the current O/S.
Recommendation: Make sure you are installing the software on a certified platform.

To verify the version of Solaris SPARC, executing unname -a returns the following output:

Note that a similar symptom is observed for any operating system/update level which is not in the list being checked (5.12 Update 0.175, 5.11 Update 0.175, 5.10 Update u10wos), such as Solaris 10 update 11 (5.10 Update u11wos).
