Deprecation of OATS-based service test in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control

Scope

What is being deprecated

Enterprise Manager Cloud Control provides an option for customers to create Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) based service test to proactively monitor Web based applications and trace the end-user experience as they enter and navigate the pages.

The test type uses OpenScript load testing scripts. Openscript is a component of OATS and provides advanced capabilities to record and play back various types of Web transactions, such as web/HTTP, Oracle EBS/Forms, Oracle Fusion/ADF, Siebel, and so on.

NOTE: This deprecation applies only to the OATS script-based service test in Enterprise Manager. Customers can continue to create other types of service tests in Enterprise Manager.
