Deprecation of Oracle Web Cache Monitoring in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control

What is being deprecated

Oracle Web Cache is the caching mechanism provided with Oracle Fusion Middleware. Caching improves the performance, scalability, and availability of Web sites that run on Oracle Fusion Middleware by storing frequently accessed URLs in memory. Oracle Web Cache is deprecated as of and is not included in Fusion Middleware (FMW) 12c.

Enterprise Manager provides an option for customers to automatically discover and monitor OracleAS Web Cache instances running within application servers, view the metrics associated with this target to analyze their performance, and perform enterprise configuration tasks like viewing, comparing, and searching configuration information.
