Data Masking Script Execution Fails With KUP-04001: error opening file for External Table (Doc ID 2696000.1)

Symptoms

 When Data Masking script execution has a portion referring to external table and it gets to the stage where it does count(*) on external tables it fails with the below:

ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEOPEN callout

ORA-29400: data cartridge error

KUP-04001: error opening file <Log file name> e.g. /CML/retek/qa1/ext_stg/cml_ds_eoffer_promo_report.log
