Symptoms

 While trying to create SQL Expression for CLOB column to masking it in OEM gets error

Error:
The SQL Expression is invalid. Specify substitution columns within percent signs, for example %EMPID% where EMPID is the column name. Substitution columns must exist in the masked table.



Changes

 If Regular Expression Masking on BLOB column fails with "Format Parameters -
The SQL Expression is invalid", then this issue is rediscovered.
