Purpose
Fleet Maintenance is a centralized mechanism for Patching/Upgrading of Oracle homes and maintain consistency. Fleet Maintenance allows Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control administrators to patch database, Oracle Restart or Grid Infrastructure with minimal downtime. Fleet maintenance uses the Out of Place Patching option. Also this can be done only via emcli verb and there is no GUI option available.
Scope
Steps outlined in this document are applicable for migrating multitenant standalone DB. Scenarios applicable are
Migration of existing PDB's to the newly created CDB.
Migration of PDB's from an existing CDB to the same patch level destination CDB.
